I hear a lot of people coming in and saying that compared to the cars they drove back in the 70’s and 80’s, the new cars they drive cause them to feel every bump in the road. Someone told me they missed the ride of their Cadillac from that era, compared to the ride of their new Nissan Maxima.
It is true that back in the 70’s GM was know particularly for it’s mushy suspension. The large engines of those days also helped make things cushy as they had to do little work to move the car down the road. One of the main reasons cars are noisier today is for that very reason, we have smaller engines in our cars and they need to work a bit harder to get us where we need to go.
If you think your car’s engine is running a bit too loud, even for a new car, come in and see us! You may need a tune up or just some new spark plugs to make your car a little more quiet.
