We have a lot of customers who just feel it is the right time for a new car. Their car may be running just fine, but it is a decade old or even a few years old and they just want a new ride. So, before they go off to a dealership they casually ask, what do you think my car is worth?
There are two ways to determine your car’s approximate value. One is to go to a site like Kelly Blue Book and look up your car’s trade in value. You should compare that to your car’s private sale value. It may be worth selling your car yourself and taking that cash to the dealership as a downpayment.
Next is to check what price your vehicle is selling for on the current used market. The best ways to do that is to check Craigslist and Cars.com for what similar vehicles are selling for. Once you have the facts, you can then make an informed decision as to what to do with your old ride.
Until you decide to sell your car or trade it in, make sure you see us every 3,000 miles to make sure you get to your next ride safely and surely!
